The X-ray · a one-time read

What your mutual funds actually cost you.

Every Indian MF investor can get a consolidated account statement by email in two minutes (CAMS/KFintech, password is usually your PAN). It holds every transaction since inception. Nobody else asks for it and then does research-grade analysis on it.

What it computes

Thirteen analyses, each a computation over your actual cash flows joined to our NAV, price and holdings history. Five are shown on this page; the rest wait in the Wealth Governance app.

Behaviour gap
Your XIRR on your actual flows against the time-weighted return of the same funds over the same period. “Your funds returned 14.2% a year. You earned 9.8%. The 4.4 points were timing.”
Cash drag
Days between a redemption and the next purchase, balances parked in liquid funds, priced against the index over those exact days.
Panic exits
Redemptions within 30 days of a >10% index fall, valued at today's NAV.
Direct-plan leak
The same cash flows into the Direct plan of the very same funds — postulate P5 in rupees — beside the index, the category median and never selling.
Look-through overlap
Every fund's latest portfolio joined to your units: the pair of funds that is 78% the same portfolio.

In the Wealth Governance app:

  • Chasing — buying right after a fund's best stretch
  • Disposition effect — winners sold early, losers held
  • SIP discipline — paused and stopped instalments, valued today
  • Churn — exit loads and short-term tax actually paid
  • Undeployed redemptions — money that left a fund and never came back
  • True diversification — true diversification across every fund
  • Reconstructed risk — your real portfolio's drawdown and recovery
  • Nominee gaps — every folio without a nominee

Read your statement once

One-time, in memory

This one-time analysis runs in memory and is discarded when you leave; nothing is stored. To keep the findings, track every month, and add family members, continue in the Wealth Governance app.

Read this first

Nothing here tells you to buy, sell, switch or hold. Every finding is a measurement of what happened in your own account, with the counter-argument attached. Anveshan and Lineage Money are not SEBI-registered advisers; the numbers are yours to take to whoever is.

The other half of the question

The X-ray shows how you behave with real money. The Blind Allocation Experiment shows how you choose with nothing at stake — ₹1 lakh of virtual money a cycle, your picks against a blind draw and the index. Together they are the comparison no platform offers.

And your family's money?

A public page answers one question; this read answers “and what about my money?”; the household view in Wealth Governance answers “and my family's?” — every member's folios, who holds what, the un-nominated accounts, the concentration in one name, shared with an adviser only for as long as you choose.

Anveshan never becomes a second store of your statements. Wealth Governance is where they are kept; it needs multi-factor authentication on the same login.
